Six Crabwood riders and one guest rode our hill-climb challenge during our club ride on 27th September.

Guest rider, Jon Legg of Sotonia CC, was fastest in 2mins 41 seconds, narrowly beating Pat Lafford into 2nd place 2mins 45.

After the event, we continued on our way to the Black Horse at West Tytherley for lunch, with an impromptu freewheel competition en route.  Ray Hughes and John Sanchez-Bisson were the only two who succeeded in freewheeling all the way to the pub, despite a tough headwind.
