Only 6 riders took the start on a beautiful warm evening - Was it the strong Easterly wind or the new Forestry parking charges that deterred them? . Fortunately the wind, though still not helpful, had died down a fair bit.
Pat Lafford was fastest in 25:15, riding his TT bike this week, with Jon Dudley 2nd in 26:01 and Jon Legg 3rd in 26:50. Several of the riders were delayed at Leygreen (Colin Witt possibly the worst affected) - not so much by the donkeys in the road, but by the motorists who had stopped to look at them.

Our next event will be on Thursday 14th May - HQ will be in Lyndhurst car park (free after 6pm).
