Only 6 riders (3 Crabwood, 3 Sotonia) took the start on a beautiful warm evening - perhaps it was the strong Easterly wind or the new Forestry parking charges that deterred them? Fortunately the wind, though still not helpful, had died down a fair bit by the start.
Pat Lafford was fastest in 25:15, riding his TT bike this week, with Jon Dudley 2nd in 26:01 and Jon Legg 3rd in 26:50.
