16 riders (12 solos, one tandem and one tandem-trike) representing 9 different clubs, rode our first club TT of 2023, a strong Easterly wind making for tough conditions.

Crabwood winner was event organiser Pat Lafford (riding his road bike), with Simon Hall only 16 seconds slower - a creditable course PB for him, on such a tough evening.

Fastest guest was Mark Lisk (3C) in 23-36, with Utag RT's Adam Curtis 2nd in 23-42 and Darren Anderson (Nieuw Bos) the only other rider under 24 mins, with 23-58.

On return to HQ, riders and officials enjoyed cakes provided by Mary Corbett, riding with Partner 74 in her Tandem Tart Challenge.  However, the day's blue skies soon gave way to cloud, with riders and officials scattering quickly as the first spots of rain fell.
