COURSE – Change of Course to P311 (2015 version) due to Roadworks on Derritt Lane

START at first lamp post in Wellworthy Road, proceed west for 30m to new roundabout on B3347.(SU153044).  Turn left (CARE – Give Way) onto Christchurch Road, proceed south via Bisterne and Avon to Sopley one-way system. (5.2m).  Turn right (CARE –don’t cut the corner, road is two-way at this point) over bridge at the Woolpack and retrace to Ringwood via Avon and Bisterne to FINISH at drain 10 yds south of junction with Hampshire Hatches Lane at Moortown Green. Please adhere to CTT regulations and pay attention to the rules of the road and show courtesy to all road users.  Any rider observed riding in a manner which may jeopardise his or her own safety, the safety of others and the future of the sport will be disqualified and reported to CTT South DC.  CTT Observers may be in attendance along the course

Event HQin The Barn at The Elm Tree pub, Hightown Rd, Ringwood BH24 3DY).  From A31 take the Poulner exit East of Ringwood; from W-bound slip road turn left into Eastfield Lane, follow South for 1 mile and the Pub is on the left.  Numbersand signing on will be at the HQ, where numbers may be exchanged after the event for a (non-alcoholic!) drink.  Please take care when arriving at or leaving the HQ. 

Route to Start. Turn Right from HQ onto Hightown Road then left into Hightown Road, left at r-a-b into Castleman Way to r-a-b at end where left onto Christchurch Road, continue to new r-a-b where left into Wellworthy Road and start.

Route from Finish  -  reverse of above.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:-

Riders must:

Not make U turns in the vicinity of the Start or Finish

Must not warm up on the Course once the event has started.

Not stop at the Finish but continue to the event Headquarters.

Not cut corner at Sopley one-way system on 1^st right turn as the road is two-way at this point

Take Extra Care:-

            From start to Moortown Lane – busy with houses and side roads, busy garage on Left, finish on Right.

            Avon Tyrrell Farm - sharp bend with possible gravel.

            Avon Causeway - beware of traffic stopping to turn right or emerging onto course.
